Yailin earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida International University and is Board Certified by The American Board of Wound Management (ABWM) in wound care, with advanced certification in complex wound management. She has been working in healthcare for six years and was drawn to this career by the opportunity to witness healing firsthand and to be an active part of the patients’ recovery journey. Her favorite part of her role is listening to her patients’ stories and supporting them through their healing journey. She finds it incredibly rewarding to work with her team to provide the highest level of care possible, while also ensuring that each patient feels heard, supported, and has a positive experience during their recovery. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and learning about different cultures. Exploring new places and perspectives allows her to recharge while broadening her understanding of the world and the people in it. Yailin works alongside a high-level professional team, Dr. Sullivan, a wound care specialist physician, and certified nursing assistant, Feliccia Law, to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.
