Sergio Rodriguez, BSHS

Sergio has a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services and Industrial Psychology. His healthcare career began in an Assisted Living Facility in Tampa at the age of 15 with the dietary department. While Human Services was a passion for him, he also received a degree in Art History and began facilitating an art therapy group as a volunteer for a forty-bed male shelter in New Haven, Connecticut. While in Connecticut, Sergio entered the realm of Social Services and enjoyed the opportunity to help others. These experiences eventually led him to work with the senior population.

Sergio began his career at The Encore as a Social Worker in 2014 and decided to then move his career path into the Admissions and Marketing field. His previous knowledge in the healthcare field made him successful in being able to educate and provide quality services to the members of his community.

Sergio is also a community advocate for seniors. He enjoys painting, philosophy and music composition. He has written, directed, produced and performed in plays, designed and animated a cartoon, and produced multiple musical compositions utilizing various media and musical instrumentation.
