Helen Padilla, BSN, RN
Helen was born in Polomolok, South Cotabato, Philippines where she graduated from Notre Dame High School. An influence from her sister, who is also a nurse and a nun, led her to pursue nursing. She completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from San Pedro college of Nursing, Davao City Philippines. Soon thereafter, her dream of one day working abroad came true when she got her first assignment in New York City as a Registered Nurse at a nursing home, where she developed her love to take care of the senior population. After working as a Patient Care Coordinator for seven years, she relocated in Florida and became a certified MDS (Minimum Data Set) coordinator and gained more experience in the assessment process and knowledge in State and Federal Regulations. Helen likes to travel and embark on many adventures, so after ten years in Florida she decided to move to California and resided there for another eight years still serving as as MDS coordinator. Just two years ago, Helen returned to Florida to join her two daughters and enjoy her four grandchildren!
