Allyson Dedic holds her Bachelor’s of Science in Recreational Therapy from East Carolina University. Her career began as a therapist in a subacute care hospital on units specializing in medically complex patients and ventilator patients on the road to recovery. During the beginning of her career, she developed a passion for the senior population and soon began to change her path in that direction. Allyson has worked in skilled nursing facilities for over 17 years in many different roles including Therapeutic Recreation, Restorative Care, and all the while having a role with Community Development. Her background as a therapist in acute care settings allows her ability to see positive care outcomes from a clinical standpoint as well as building lasting relationships. In most recent years, Allyson has focused primarily on developing community and business relationships with a close network of health care providers that will ensure the highest quality of life for the patients she serves. She has developed strong partnerships and continues to expand her resources in the community to provide an even higher level of care. Allyson is a native of Maryland and moved to South Florida over 12 years ago. She loves traveling, visiting new places, and spontaneous trips to the Florida Keys to go fishing with her family. For many years she was an avid camper and has spent a lot of time in Appalachian Trail and the Florida Everglades. Allyson is happy to call Florida her home!
